ArtLife Studio was founded in 2015 by Alba Gisselle Perez, a Dominican-American contemporary & international artist with over 30 years of creative experience. The studio was created to provide a space where art and community could flourish together, offering people of all ages the chance to express themselves, learn, and connect through creativity.

Artlife's timeline

2015

ArtLife Studio opened its doors in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, in 2015. It quickly became a gathering place for the local community, hosting art workshops, sip and paint events, and creative programs. The studio laid the foundation for what would become a thriving hub for art and culture in the region.

2023

In 2023, ArtLife Studio moved to Broad Street in downtown Hazleton. This location brought greater visibility and opportunities, cementing the studio’s role as a cultural anchor for local artists and families. During this time, the studio expanded its offerings, including the launch of its Annual Cosplay Event in April, a celebration of creativity and fandom that has become a staple of the local art calendar.

2024

In 2024, ArtLife Studio found its permanent home in Freeland, Pennsylvania. This move marked a new chapter for the studio, allowing it to evolve into a fully realized creative space. Today, ArtLife Studio offers:

• Art exhibits

• Sip and paint events

• Poetry nights

• After-school programs

• Workshops for kids and adults

Freeland has embraced ArtLife Studio as a vibrant addition to the town’s cultural landscape, with the studio fostering creativity and collaboration among artists, families, and the community.
